This listening center features Hamilton’s Exclusive Guardian Headsets with Sound Level Monitor (SLM) Technology - Deliver SAFE SOUND to your students. Each Guardian headphone has LEDs that allow you to see the level of your students volume from across the room. The green LED indicates a safe listening level for your students that won’t harm their ears. The red LED when lit alerts you that the child may have a hearing problem or is at risk of causing irreversible damage to their ears.

The cassette player will record from CD, radio or the built-in microphone. The SC-5050 is built with classroom use in mind with a rugged design and attractive silver and blue housing. 6 headphone jacks are built in to the SC-5050 for listening center use. 2 full-range speakers deliver rich sound to go along with the high quality video provided by the DVD player.
